Bundle · Best value2 coursesThis Python course takes you from your first line of code to building things worth showing an employer. You'll write a guessing game, a tax calculator and a banking system with logins and transfers, then model data with classes and store it in a database. After that you'll build a Flask web app with accounts, cost an algorithm before it runs and answer real questions in pandas.
Bundle overview
Two courses in the order you need them. Python Programming teaches the language by building with it, from installing Python to classes, files, databases and a live data pipeline. Advanced Python Programming then points it at real work: an HTML and CSS refresher with a front-end project, two modules of Flask, algorithms and complexity, and NumPy and pandas with Seaborn.
By the end you can write and structure real programs, build a web app with accounts and a database behind it, and clean and chart a dataset you've never seen before. It suits complete beginners and career changers who want Python for real, not a taster. You don't need any coding experience: the first course starts at installing Python.

What's inside
Work through them in order. Each course stands on its own, with its own certificate, and the sequence is built to stack.
Certificate in Python Programming£109
The language, from scratch. From your first print statement to whole programs: a guessing game, a tax calculator, a banking system, classes, files and live data stored in a database.
Advanced Certificate in Python Programming£129
Putting it to work. A Flask app with accounts and hashed passwords, algorithms you can cost before they run, then real datasets cleaned and charted in NumPy and pandas. It opens with the HTML and CSS your Flask app needs, quick to skim if you know them already.
Key benefits
Everything you need to learn the skill, prove it and put it to work.
All 2 for £159 instead of £238

Career outcomes
Python turns up in developer, data and automation job adverts alike, and employers want to see code you've written. You'll finish with two certificates employers can check online, plus a banking system, a Flask app and a pandas analysis to talk through.

If you're testing the water with code, start with Python Programming on its own and see how the first projects feel. If you already write loops, functions and files comfortably, Advanced Python Programming may be all you need. And if analysing data is the whole goal, Data Analysis with Python is the more direct route.
A course advisor will talk it through with you free, and will say so if a different course fits your goal better.
Good to know
Two courses: Python Programming, 10 modules and 117 lessons with about 38 hours of video, and Advanced Python Programming, 8 modules and 106 lessons with about 22 hours. Both come with written notes and a checkpoint at the end of every module, and you build as you go: a banking system, a Flask web app with accounts, and analyses of real datasets in pandas.
Python Programming first, because the advanced course builds on exactly what it leaves you with. The advanced course then opens with three modules of HTML, CSS and a front-end project, the groundwork for the Flask app you build on top of it.
Yes, two: one for each course, issued when you pass its final assessment at 80 per cent and verifiable online by any employer. There's no separate bundle certificate. They're OBA certificates of completion, not a professional certification such as the Python Institute's exams, and the programs you build are the other half of the proof.
No. Python and every tool both courses use are free, and the first course walks you through installing Python before anything else.
Python Programming on its own if you want to learn the language and see how far you take it. The bundle if you already know you want to build web apps or work with data, because the advanced course is where Flask, algorithms and pandas live.
No, enrol on the other course on its own. The bundle price includes both courses, the one you already have among them, and nothing comes off for it, so with one owned the other costs less by itself.
Yes. The installation and the database setup are filmed on Windows, so a few steps look different on a Mac: install Python from python.org or with Homebrew and the rest follows. The Python you write is identical on any machine.
Yes. One price covers both courses, and it's less than their two prices added together; the page shows exactly what you save. You pay once and keep both courses for life.
Download the free info pack first. It walks you through every course, what you'll build and what you need before you start, so you can enrol knowing exactly what you're getting. If you'd like to talk it through, get in touch and we'll help you choose.
