Good to know
Eleven modules, 172 lessons and about 50 hours of video. Every lesson but one carries a written summary, three to eight paragraphs of notes and a key-takeaways panel, and 123 of them carry an interactive step. There are eleven checkpoints of eight questions and a final assessment of twenty questions at 80 per cent, which is what issues the certificate. The one exception is lesson 7.4, which plays but has no written notes, because no transcript was delivered for it and we do not invent them.
Not for the certificate, and yes for some of the lessons. Modules 7, 8 and 11 go to After Effects for tracking, rotoscoping and 3D work, and to Photoshop for the compositing lessons, because those jobs are genuinely easier there and the course is honest about it. Everything assessed can be done in Premiere Pro alone, so a single-app subscription will get you the certificate. If you want to follow every lesson, you need a plan that includes the other two.
It is two recorded courses joined at lesson 7.32, with a different presenter from that point on. The second half re-introduces the interface briefly before moving on, which you can skip. Nothing is repeated beyond that, and the second half is where grading, sound design and compositing live.

A reasonably modern computer is fine for most of the course, and the later effects lessons stack enough layers to make any machine work hard. The course covers the answers as it goes: proxies for footage your machine cannot play, lower playback resolution, and rendering a range before you judge it.
