Office & productivity courses
Bundle · Best value3 coursesThese Excel training courses take you from finding your way round the ribbon to answering real business questions from raw data. You'll build a budget spreadsheet from a blank sheet, keep big reports right with XLOOKUP, PivotTables and Power Query, then model tables in Power Pivot and write VBA that does the monthly clicking for you, until you can prove how good your Excel really is.
Bundle overview
Each course starts where the last one stops. The Certificate in Microsoft Excel gets you fluent, from cells and formulas to lookups, dynamic arrays and charts. The Advanced Certificate makes your work dependable, with error handling, PivotTables, Power Query, macros and dashboards. Excel for Data Analysis points it all at real questions, with Power Pivot, forecasting and VBA. Skim anything you already know.
By the end you can build a workbook other people trust, summarise thousands of rows in minutes and hand the repetitive jobs to a macro, which is what being good with Excel actually means at work. It suits beginners and everyday users who want to stop getting by.

What's inside
Work through them in order. Each course stands on its own, with its own certificate, and the sequence is built to stack.

Reports people can rely on. Lookups, error handling, PivotTables, Power Query and recorded macros, then a long run on conditional formatting, charts and dashboards with slicers.
Certificate in Excel for Data Analysis£89

Career outcomes
Excel turns up in admin, finance and analyst job adverts alike, and 'good with Excel' is easy to claim. Three certificates employers can check online, plus the workbooks you built, show how far yours goes.

If you're new to Excel and not sure how far you'll take it, start with the Certificate in Microsoft Excel on its own: it's the first course here anyway. If you already use Excel every day, the Advanced Certificate in Microsoft Excel may be all you need. And if your goal is analyst work, the Data Analyst Bundle keeps Excel for Data Analysis and swaps the other two for SQL and Power BI.
A course advisor will talk it through with you free, and will say so if a different course fits your goal better.
Good to know
Three courses: the Certificate in Microsoft Excel (10 modules, 96 lessons, about 14 hours of video), the Advanced Certificate in Microsoft Excel (12 modules, 125 lessons, about 30 hours) and Excel for Data Analysis (10 modules, 78 lessons, about 35 hours). Every lesson has written notes, every module ends in a checkpoint, and Excel for Data Analysis finishes with three modules of VBA.
Microsoft Excel, then the Advanced Certificate, then Excel for Data Analysis, so each one builds on what came before. All three are open from the day you enrol and everything is self-paced, so you can move quickly through ground you already know.
Yes, three: one for each course, issued when you pass its final assessment at 80 per cent and verifiable online. There's no separate bundle certificate. They're OBA certificates of completion, not Microsoft Office Specialist certifications, and the workbooks you build are the other half of the proof.
Yes, the desktop app, through a Microsoft 365 subscription or a one-off licence. You can start the first course in the free web version, but the later courses need the desktop app.
The Advanced Certificate on its own if you use Excel daily and only want the harder material. The bundle if you're building the whole skill set, or you'd add either other course to the advanced one anyway, because the bundle costs less than the advanced course plus either of the others.
Compare before you enrol. The bundle price includes all three courses, the one you already have among them, and nothing comes off for it. Price up the two you're missing on their own pages: with one course owned the bundle can still come out cheaper, but not always.
No. The first course starts with cells, worksheets and the ribbon and builds up to XLOOKUP and FILTER before the advanced material begins. If you already use Excel, the early lessons go quickly, and the OBA Tutor can explain any step another way when you need it.
Yes. One price covers all three courses, and it's less than their prices added together; the page shows exactly what you save. You pay once and keep every course for life.
Download the free info pack first. It walks you through every course, what you'll build and what you need before you start, so you can enrol knowing exactly what you're getting. If you'd like to talk it through, get in touch and we'll help you choose.
