Course overview
This course takes you from setting up a ChatGPT account to sending your first prompt from code. Seven modules and about 4 hours of video, in short lessons: the first five put prompting to work on research, writing, images, data and the jobs that fill a real week, and the last two make it repeatable with custom GPTs, memory, Zapier and the OpenAI API.
By the end you can brief an assistant so its first answer is close, fix a weak one by reshaping it rather than starting again, and check whether its sources are real before you rely on them. It suits office staff, marketers and freelancers who use ChatGPT and still end up redoing what it gives them, and anyone curious about custom GPTs and automation.

Seven modules, 40 lessons and about 4 hours of video, with written notes and key takeaways under the videos and an interactive step on 25 lessons. There are seven checkpoints of eight questions and a twenty-question final assessment at 80 per cent, which is what issues the certificate.
Yes, the prompting does. Context, roles, output formats and reshaping a weak answer work the same way in ChatGPT, Claude and the rest. The course is taught in ChatGPT, and its lessons on custom GPTs and the OpenAI API are specific to it.
Not for most of it. The free plan covers the prompting, which is most of the course. A few later lessons show paid-plan features you can follow along without subscribing, and the code and automation lessons use prepaid API credit on a separate OpenAI developer account, which a ChatGPT subscription doesn't include or require.

Yes. Module 1 starts with setting up a ChatGPT account and finding your way around, so you need no experience with AI tools. The automation and API lessons later go further, and the one lesson with code runs in your browser with nothing to install.
More reliable, never certain. A good prompt raises the quality of an answer; it doesn't remove the need to check it. The research module covers this directly: how to tell whether an answer really used a source, and why a confident citation isn't a verified one.
Yes. Pass the twenty-question final assessment at 80 per cent and you get an OBA certificate of completion that an employer can verify online. It isn't an OpenAI qualification or an accredited award. The templates and custom GPT you build along the way are the other half of the proof.
