Digital marketing courses
Beginner friendlyThis AI marketing course teaches you to get real marketing work out of AI while keeping the brand, and the facts, in your hands. You'll build an assistant that writes in a brand's voice, turn piles of customer reviews into a sourced insight brief, write ads, emails and a landing page and make the images, then check every claim and prove every figure AI hands you before anything goes out.
Course overview
This course launches a refill pouch for a fictional Leeds skincare brand, with AI drafting and you in charge. It starts with where AI saves a marketer time and where it goes wrong, then moves through briefing, brand voice, customer research, copy, personalisation, images and video and the AI inside ad platforms, before results, AI search and a team AI policy, and finishes with a capstone campaign kit.
By the end you can brief AI so its drafts need editing rather than rewriting, catch the invented statistics and claims nobody could prove, and show exactly what AI saved you and what you fixed. Whether you write the copy, run a small team or fit marketing around your own business, you finish faster and still sounding like the brand.

Career outcomes
Marketing teams want people who can use AI without putting the brand at risk, and a portfolio is how you prove you're one of them. Your case study shows the time you saved, the edits you made and every error you caught.

If you're new to marketing, start with Digital Marketing: AI speeds up work you already understand, but it can't supply the judgement. If you want AI across general office work rather than marketing, AI at Work fits better. And if you want automations that run on triggers without you, AI Automation picks up where this course stops.
A course advisor will talk it through with you free, and will say so if a different course fits your goal better.
Good to know
A whole campaign done with AI, checked at every step. You start with where AI fits a marketer's week and how it goes wrong, then teach it a brand voice, use it for customer research and write copy for ads, email, social and the web. After that come personalisation within UK rules, images and video, briefing the AI inside ad platforms, analysing results, being found in AI search and a team AI policy, ending in a capstone campaign kit.
Whichever assistant you prefer: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot. The skills are deliberately tool-agnostic, and the course also uses NotebookLM for research, Canva for images and AI search tools for checking what they say about a brand.
No. Every task is designed to work on a free tier, and if you reach a free limit partway through a heavy module, you pick it up in a second sitting. Plans change often, so the course shows you where to check what each one includes.
This course if your work is marketing: brand voice, customer research, copy, ad platforms and the UK advertising rules. Prompt Engineering if you want prompting technique for any kind of work, taught in ChatGPT, up to a first call to the OpenAI API.
No, and you shouldn't paste real customers' details into AI until you know what's safe. The course follows a fictional Leeds skincare brand, so nothing you practise on involves real people, and it shows you exactly what to redact before you work with your own. The capstone can be your own business or employer, with permission.
The tools change often, but the judgement doesn't. The course teaches principles first and current tools second, and shows you where to check what's changed.
No, but hiding it can be. The course covers being straightforward about AI use, checking every fact before anything goes out, labelling AI images where the rules expect it, and holding a standard that has nothing to do with how the draft was made.
Yes. Pass the final assessment and you get an OBA certificate of completion that an employer can verify online. It isn't a vendor certification from OpenAI, Google or HubSpot. The campaign kit and case study you build, with every edit and error logged, are the other half of the proof.
