If you want to design marketing graphics rather than app and web interfaces, Graphic Design Using Canva or the Advanced Certificate in Graphic Design fits better. Figma earns its keep on product design.
Good to know
Mostly. Your own draft files are unlimited on the free tier and the great majority of the course works there. Two parts do not. Publishing a design system as a shared library, which module 8 covers, is a paid feature, and the AI tools in module 4 needed a paid plan when those videos were recorded. Both are worth watching either way, and neither is needed for the certificate.
No. Figma is a design tool and no coding is required. We do teach you what developers need from your files, so handoff goes smoothly.
Mostly a Figma course, with real UX in it. Module 1 covers design thinking, principles and user stories, and module 5 is seven lessons on user research: the seven factors behind a good experience, the empathy gap, and how to run surveys and interviews without leading people. The other nine modules are design and build work in Figma.
If you build along, yes. The course walks through six complete flows, three for web and three for mobile, and the honest advice from the final lesson is to rebuild two of them yourself rather than following the videos. That is what turns watching into something you can show, and it is where the last lesson of the course points you.

No. Nothing is downloadable: the lessons are the videos, the written notes and the questions. Worth knowing before you start, because several videos refer to a working file of components and resources that was not delivered with the course. Everything they use is findable in Figma's own Community for free, and the notes say so where it comes up.
Because it is. This certificate is two deliveries joined: modules 1 to 5 are one course and modules 6 to 11 are a second, more advanced one by a different presenter. Module 3 even ends with a thank-you for completing the course, and eight modules follow it. The lessons say so where it happens, so nobody stops two fifths of the way through.
Two worth knowing. Lesson 8.3 arrived with no transcript, so it plays as video with no written notes; the material it introduces is covered in full by the three lessons after it. And a lesson in module 2 promises that prototype variables and conditional logic are coming later, and they are never taught anywhere in the course. Neither affects the certificate.
