If you want compositing, layers and pixel-level work, Adobe Photoshop is the better course, and this one is honest about where Lightroom stops. And if you only ever edit on a phone and are happy with that, modules 7 and 8 are most of what you need rather than the whole course.

Modules 2 to 6 are Lightroom Classic, 7 and 8 are Lightroom on a phone, and 9 and 10 are the cloud desktop app.
No. No files ship with this course, and three lessons mention a resource pack that was not delivered with the material. Each of those says so and gives a route that works without it, which is almost always a photograph of your own. That is the better exercise anyway, because you will care whether the result still looks right.
All three, and one thing is worth knowing before you start. The Lightroom Classic modules were recorded on an older release where the local tools are separate icons for the graduated filter, radial filter and brush. Current versions put all of that in one Masking panel, alongside Select Subject, Select Sky and selections built from colour or brightness. Module 9 teaches the newer arrangement in the cloud app, so you end up recognising both, and every technique in the older modules still exists.
Lightroom is a paid Adobe subscription with a free trial. The trial is enough to start the course and see whether it fits the way you work. Check what a given plan includes before you buy, because Classic and the cloud app are separate applications and not every plan carries both.
