Office & productivity courses
Beginner friendlyThis Notion course has you run a whole project through Notion, from a scribbled list to a plan other people can follow. You'll build a task database with owners, dates and priorities, show it as a board and a calendar, track a budget, decide who can edit and who can only look, and finish by planning a project of your own from a blank page.
Course overview
This course carries one project from start to finish: a birthday party for thirty, with a budget, a fixed date and jobs that must happen in order, which is every project problem in miniature. Six modules and about four hours of video take you through pages, databases, views, a budget tracker, sharing and permissions, integrations and Notion AI, and templates.
By the end you can turn a pile of jobs into a plan with owners, deadlines, a budget and the right access, and reuse that structure for whatever comes next. It suits freelancers, team leads, office managers and anyone who has started Notion twice and let it drift. You need no experience, just a free account.

Career outcomes
Every busy team needs someone who can turn a pile of jobs into a plan with owners, deadlines and the right access. The certificate shows you've learned how, and the plans you built here show you can do it.

An example of the certificate for the Certificate in Notion.

If your team lives in spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel is the better choice. If you need linked records and forms that file requests for you, take Project Management Using Airtable, and for a busy team sharing deadlines, Project Management Using Monday fits better. And if your Notion setup already works, keep using it: you don't need a course to validate it.
A course advisor will talk it through with you free, and will say so if a different course fits your goal better.
Good to know
Six modules, 24 lessons and about 4 hours of video. Every lesson has written notes and key takeaways under the video, with practice questions through the course. There are six checkpoints of eight questions and a final assessment of twenty questions at 80 per cent, which is what issues the certificate. One project runs through it all, a birthday party plan, and the last module hands you a website project to plan on your own.
No. The course assumes you're working on your own, and everything you build works on a free personal account. Module 4 covers sharing and permissions, so when you do bring people in, you know how to give each of them the narrowest access that works.
No. The free plan covers everything you build in the course on your own. A few things the course shows are paid, such as some team permission controls and exporting a database with all its sub-pages, and how much Notion AI you get depends on your plan. Plan limits change often, so check Notion's current comparison before you commit a team.
Notion if your work is mostly documents, notes and plans with some structure. Airtable if it's structured records in linked tables, fed by forms. monday.com if it's a team tracking tasks with owners and deadlines. We teach all three, and each course tells you when one of the others fits better.
Not until the end. You build the party plan alongside the videos, starting from an empty workspace. Module 6 then asks you to plan a website project from a blank page, with no example to copy, which is when Notion becomes yours.
The basics come quickly. Databases are where most people stall, so that's where this course spends its time: you build one property by property in module 2, then show it as a board, a timeline and a calendar in module 3 without copying a thing. Each lesson builds the workspace the next one edits, so take them in order.
If you need one feature explained, a free tutorial is enough and we'd tell you to use one. The course is for building a complete, connected workspace with a structure you won't outgrow, plus a certificate employers can verify online.
Yes. Pass the twenty-question final assessment at 80 per cent and you get the Certificate in Notion, an OBA certificate of completion that an employer can verify online. It isn't a certification from Notion itself. The plans you build along the way are the other half of the proof.
