Business & finance courses
Bundle · Best value3 coursesThis financial analyst course teaches the three jobs at the heart of the role, in the order you'll do them at work. You'll read a real UK company's accounts and judge whether it's sound, build a linked three-statement model in Excel from a blank workbook, then run a planning year from variances to a budget the board signs off, so you walk into interviews with work to show for every stage.
Bundle overview
The bundle starts where all finance work starts. Finance Fundamentals teaches you to read a profit and loss account, a balance sheet and a cash flow statement on real UK filings, and why profit is not cash. Financial Modelling in Excel turns that into a model that balances in every year, with debt and scenarios. Budgeting & Forecasting covers the planning year: variances, outturn forecasts, a driver-based budget and a weekly cash forecast.
By the end you can judge a business from its accounts, build the model that forecasts it and plan the budget that runs it, with the work to prove each one. It suits career changers, finance assistants and graduates heading for analyst, FP&A or management accounting roles. If you can type a simple formula, you can start.

Career outcomes
Analyst interviews often include a case study or a timed model build, so what you can do matters as much as what you've passed. You'll arrive with three certificates employers can verify, and a health check, a model and a board pack you built yourself.

If you're still deciding whether finance is for you, start with Finance Fundamentals on its own: it assumes nothing, and it's the first course here anyway. If you already read accounts with ease, Financial Modelling in Excel may be all you need. And if you'd rather value businesses than plan their budgets, take that modelling course and then the Advanced Certificate in Financial Modelling & Valuation.
A course advisor will talk it through with you free, and will say so if a different course fits your goal better.
Good to know
Three courses: Finance Fundamentals, Financial Modelling in Excel and Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A). The first teaches you to read a set of accounts and judge a business from them. The second builds a linked three-statement model with debt, scenarios and a summary page. The third is the planning work: variances, outturn forecasts, a driver-based budget and a weekly cash forecast, taken all the way to board sign-off.
Finance Fundamentals first, because both of the others assume you can read a profit and loss account and a balance sheet. After that, neither depends on the other, so take Financial Modelling in Excel or Budgeting & Forecasting first, whichever is closer to the job you want. If you already read accounts comfortably, you can start with either.
Yes, three: one for each course you complete, each verifiable online, and there's no separate bundle certificate. They're OBA certificates of completion, not professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or the CFA. If the roles you're aiming at ask for one of those, this bundle builds the hands-on skills that sit alongside it.
For the second and third courses, yes. Financial Modelling in Excel and Budgeting & Forecasting need the desktop app, through a Microsoft 365 subscription or a one-off licence. Finance Fundamentals runs in the free Excel for the web or Google Sheets, so you can start without paying for anything.
The bundle if you're building the analyst skill set from the start. Financial Modelling in Excel on its own if you already read accounts confidently and budgeting isn't part of the job you want. The modelling course assumes you can read a P&L and a balance sheet, which is exactly what Finance Fundamentals teaches.
Check the sums first. The bundle price includes all three courses, the one you already have among them, and nothing comes off for it. Compare it with the prices of the two you're missing on their own pages: with one course owned the bundle can still come out cheaper, but not always.
Yes. Finance Fundamentals assumes no accounting knowledge and explains every term the first time it appears. Get comfortable with SUMIFS and a lookup such as XLOOKUP before the modelling and FP&A courses, and the Certificate in Microsoft Excel covers both if they're new.
Yes. One price covers all three courses, and it's less than their prices added together; the page shows exactly what you save. You pay once and keep every course for life.
Download the free info pack first. It walks you through every course, what you'll build and what you need before you start, so you can enrol knowing exactly what you're getting. If you'd like to talk it through, get in touch and we'll help you choose.
